This fast-paced first-person shooter is designed with precision, speed, and player skill in mind, requiring constant movement and precise mechanical play. 

The platforming mechanics are seamlessly woven into the combat experience, allowing the player to sprint, jump, and move around in dense, high-pressure areas. The gameplay is structured so that players are always on the move, using every room as a test of skill where awareness, timing, and path optimization are key. With each playthrough, the player is challenged to improve their strategy, optimize their movement through the arenas, and strive for faster clears and higher scores.

My Contributions

Gun System

I implemented the base gun system for the main weapon, incorporating a line trace shooting method to provide accurate and timely hit detection. The gun system deals with shooting mechanics, hit detection, and damage, as well as initiating effects for hits made through visual and physical cues at the point of impact to effectively convey successful hits. The system balances accuracy and speed to provide an immediate and reliable combat experience, while maintaining flexibility for adjustments.

Navigation Arrow

I implemented a dynamic navigation arrow system that continuously rotates to guide the player toward their next objective. The arrow updates in real time based on the player’s position and target location, ensuring clear and intuitive direction at all times.
